Minutes of a special meeting of the Scio Township DDA

The meeting was called to order at 9:47 AM.
Members Present: Arbour, Holland, Mayo, Nielsen, Luckhardt, Upton and Weaver
Members Absent: Cornish and Fox
Upton reported on the meeting at Arbour’s office on October 15th. The meeting was about an arrangement to hire Frank Del Vecchio as a consultant to the DDA and what the terms of a contract might be. He explained Del Vecchio’s counter proposal to the resolution as to his employment that was passed at the DDA meeting on October 8th.
There was a long discussion with everyone at the meeting participating. Questions were asked and considerable discussion took place. It was generally agreed upon that the proposed figure of $9,500.00 per month was reasonable.
Nielsen moved and Mayo seconded a motion to accept the proposed contract, which is attached, subject to a review by the DDA attorney.
Roll Call: Arbour yes, Cornish absent, Fox absent, Holland abstain, Mayo yes, Nielsen yes, Luckhardt yes, Upton yes and Weaver yes.
The motion passed.
Arbour moved and Nielsen seconded a motion to adjourn at approximately 10:30 AM. The motion passed by a vote of all members present.
